Hi, I’m Emily Seunik. I’m 33 years old and proudly Slovenian.

This space is where I’ve started documenting my journey of reconnecting with my roots. Slovenia has always been a part of my background, but over time I’ve felt a growing pull to explore that connection more deeply and more intentionally.

I’ve always loved traveling, exploring history, and learning about new things, so this journey feels like a natural extension of that. Through this blog, I’m sharing my experiences as I rediscover Slovenian culture through food, traditions, language, and time spent there.

I’m still at the beginning of this process, but I’m excited to see where it leads.
